The mission of the Section on International Medical Graduates is to support and promote the integration of IMGs in the US healthcare system. This mission will be accomplished by understanding the professional needs of our members; providing educational opportunities to our membership through scholarships, and other educational endeavors; building collaborative partnerships within and outside the AAP and finally supporting AAP leadership in their advocacy efforts for IMGs.
